Customer Quotes
Here's a sample of what our customers are saying about Sanscript:
I find Sanscript absolutely fasinating... I've looked at about 5 other companies, tried their software, and found that Sanscript works the best, and has the lowest price. (note: this is when we charged $129 for Sanscript)
Here's one for your record books. I've just successfully run a Sanscript program which mailmerges a data file into an MS Word template. This took me about 4 hours to accomplish (including time to install the program and run the demos) starting with essentially no knowledge of Sanscript and precious little of OLE. By contrast I've spent several DAYS trying to accomplish the same thing in VFP code.
Having the components laid out for me, with all their inputs and outputs defined, makes things a great deal easier. I like the color-flagging on required inputs, and the fact that if I create a constant and feed it into an input on a Word component, it automatically gets set to the default value of that input, if any -- using Word's constant names, no less.
Sanscript seems to take care of all the syntactical issues for me. I had figured out what values had to be passed to which Word functions, but couldn't find the right way to do it in VFP. But all I have to do now is hook the right inputs and outputs together, and somehow it works. Way cool!
"Currently I am having application support
persons (Non technical) using the software. The training was very very
easy do, unlike me trying to teach Winbatch to them." - Patrick Arch,
Network Administrator, Bank of Oklahoma.
"Sanscript Pro is the darndest thing I've run across
in years of avoiding writing PC software. This thing has already allowed
me to write a tiny utility to read registry values (that routinely get
screwed up by one of the products I have to use), which would have taken
me forever to figure out how to do in Visual Basic, C++, C, Delphi, D-,
F, etc.,etc. As a matter of fact, I've spent more time reading Visual
Basic books that I have using Sanscript Pro - and I've got an application
that I can actually use!" -- Dave Lafever, rehabilitation engineer
"Sanscript is beautiful." - technical manager
